The turkey's all gone,
the mashed potatoes are stale,
pack up from thanksgiving
and tell a quick tale.
That's long enough,
one day has passed,
get out the tree,
cause' this moment won't last.
Bake a few cookies,
rush and shop til you drop,
wrap all the presents,
singing nonstop.
A new meal, maybe ham,
some cheeseball,
and some new decorations,
that you bought at the mall.
December 24th,
the house is just right,
just one more day,
til you can take down the lights.
It comes and leaves so fast;
Christmas cheer,
but why push it away,
when it only comes once a year?
And remember it's more,
than just gifts and presents,
a long time ago
Jesus was born as a peasant.

this is cute i like this...yeah its amazing how many people are loosing christmas cheer...its hard for my mum to get into it this year with having to get up all this week at three to be at work for four. and this month alone she has only had like 3 days off and of course one of those days will be christmas day itself...
