I am the keeper of thee - you will know
I am protector and shield
I am the guide who will carry you home
I am what is not revealed

I am the one who speaks in your heart
I am the one that you feel
I am the one who whispers your name
When you think that I am not real

I am the stars and the moon up above
I am the one who will carry you high
I am the preacher that preachers you love
And will give you life after you die

You will know thee when your time is done
No secret shall hide thee from view
All is revealed as you walk in the light
Thy kingdom is waiting for you

I am the keeper of thee – in this life
I am your spirit – you know
I am the Angel who will welcome you there
To the realm of your heavenly home

    extremely inspirational. I love it..I can see how it would be difficult to write on this topic, but you pulled it all together beautifully. I admire that great great job!

    Someone is always watching over us even when we ignore them. Never have I seen it all written out so well. Beautufully thought out and constructed. Great read and appropriate for this time of the year.

      Thanks, Bob. I am so glad you liked this piece. It came to mind last night while i was sitting here. Noone was online none of my favourites were on line at the time and it popped into my head.

    Way Cool!!!

    I've wondered many times, who, or what is our guide.
    Now you've documented it, Condor! You rhyme pretty darned good and the cadence was excellent. Easy reading poem.
    BTW, thanks on the lighthouse, one of my favorites.
