Dear Santa-
I am counting on you more than ever this year. Unfortunately my wish list keeps getting longer and harder for you to deliver. I am warning you, these 'tasks' are out of this world, I guess they are just like you...well anyways I hope you can over deliver this Christmas eve night. And don't worry, I don't even need you to shimmy down the chimney...my wishes weren't meant to be placed underneath our Christmas tree.
wish 1: Give me my grandma back! Yes I said give, not please...you see this is non negotiable. If these first two wishes are the only things I ever receive again, then so be it. Take the sickness out of her brain and the sadness out of her heart. I really miss her. I can't imagine living this life without being able to talk to her.
wish 2: Give me my auntie back. Please Santa restore her health. Take the cancer from her breast(s) and let her grow her beautiful hair back! I am hoping that 'please' will allow you to use all of your magic.
wish 3: Since you are 'out of this world' can you make sure that my Linda always watches over me. Remember Linda? She was on my Santa wish list last time...but the cancer won.
wish 4: Restore my mom's brain. Make that bleeding spot go away. Car crashes happen everyday, but my mom isn't the same. She has migraines everyday and not to mention her memory is fading.
wish 5: Don't leave any child out, whether naughty or nice. I know that there are a lot of families suffering, so please ease those little ones. Life is a lot easier when they still have something to believe in.
wish 6: My daughter Jasmine, she would be on the nice list...just in case you didn't want to check it twice, she wanted me to ask you to bring her a Barbie Princess and a Teddy Bear. She is six and already showing that she is not selfish.
wish 7: If you can't provide wishes 1 through 5, then please deliver an extra guardian angel this time. I will be extra good in 2009, I promise. So if you grant me these wishes then I know at least I have given something to you in return. Confused? I will give you my word, and will remember that this holiday isn't in observance of you, but the birth of our savior. But if my wishes are granted, it will be easier to keep believing in you. Wow some people might thing that you are a genie...I certainly hope so.
Merry Christmas to everyone who reads this....and if you do, please help me in prayer to make my list become alive.
P.S. I would also like you (Santa), if you aren't spent yet, to take the crones disease from grandpa...(he would gladly keep it if you will give him his wife back, I'm sure of it).
What did you think

I was unaware of the ongoing problems your mom was having with her brain. I knew about the trama she's had, of course, but not the bleeding and migraines, etc. Jeeesh, that's some heavy stuff.
Too bad this santa dude is unable to help. But we do have prayer, and hope, and the bottom line is we have love. More often than not, this is enough...
peace

Thanks for reading this...I didn't think anyone would really read it/but I appreciate the comments/ Love has been enough so far and I hope it will stay enough. I wrote this when I was upset the other night, I talked to Grandma DIDI and she wasn't feeling good. Then my mom wasn't feeling good and everyone was asking me what I wanted for christmas, and this is what I want, whether it is God Santa Love or anything inbetween that makes this happen. Can't wait to see you guys....I think this time of year makes grandma sad because of Grandma Tremontine. She passed the day after christmas so hopefully she was just a little sad and not feeling as icky as she sounded. Love ya, K- ps, thanks for the points, I will be sure to use them on something great.

Very refreshing. Demands, not wishes!

Thanks, I should have maybe titled this using demands, but then my genie comment wouldn't have worked! Thanks for visiting my piece. I appreciate.
