Her Prayers to Heaven

She wishes for someone by her side,
to comfort and make her care.
She wishes for someone to follow her stride,
for someone just to be here.

Her prayers set free upon the stars,
she desperately cries to the sky each night.
But somehow all strangers seem so vastly far,
that, in her eyes, they are already gone from her sight.

An emotion; to smile, laugh, cry,
she needs to learn how to feel again.
Someone out there should make her fly,
straight up to heaven, for her happiness to be attained.
