Amazed by her misfortune
the petrified mannequin stares
into a distance universe
where she can be free
to roam in the warm
affections of her own reality
Her babydoll's are idols
of futuristic love
lacking human compassion
within a heartless silhouette
In a realm of constant battle
where attention is heaven sent
Take notice of her facial
which veil her true disguise
Subdued by emotional heartbreak
in a society of glossy lies

Your poem contains some very true sentiments. Well constructed and a pleasure to read.
Thankyou for your entry.

-
Absolutely beautifully done. You have an amazing voice. Please continue writing because I want to keep reading.

Each stanza works to complete the piece, yet they can individually be read as their own verses. Great descriptions, and I like how you used a mannequin to portray these feelings.

Excellent
A very good write, indeed. You express your thoughts quite clearly. Thanks for sharing this one with us. -
Smack on ending. And it's best read aloud. Good stuff!
