My name is Ruby
She never could hide
I am her alter ego
Her name is Vannah
She had nowhere to go
When I'm in control
She's always numb
My heart is black as coal
She can't escape me
No matter how hard she fights
She can only cry quietly
I used to make her cut
I know she liked it
She learned to keep her heart shut
But she's locked me up
Inside this box
She can't keep me cooped up
She can't run forever
Not as long as he's around
and they're not together

I have a split personality. I started out as Vannah and she's the preppy happy girl. Ruby is me. Or the other one. Idk. Ruby is an emo girl who comes along everytime Vannah can't cope. Ruby is what the doctors call a survival behavior. Vannah is dominant. Unless her heart is broken.
