She cries crystal tears for him
But to him she was a mere whim
For him her wrists drip ruby tears
Those last words confirmed her fears
Her love for him is bittersweet
She held on to love. No matter how fleet
The roses he gave her on on her bed
She still has them, though they're dry and dead
She will never give up on love
This heartbreak was the final shove
Rocking back and forth she's on her knees
Calling out her painful pleas
She will forever be like this
All because he gave her a final kiss
And now she's sucumbed to madness
It's a story of the sweetest sadness
Author notes
This is applying to me. It's when my alter ego is trying to take over while I'm already battling heart break.....
