Sweet solace of despair, the grief is flowing
in waves across the passages of time.
I search and yet the stars that once were glowing
have faded to a mist within my mind.
Against the silent winds, beneath the hollows
companions of my youth have drifted on.
And no one leads me home, I cannot follow--
the roads that I once traveled are now gone.
Please tell me what you think

Your sonneteer spirit comes through in this piece. The beat is there with perfect rythm and rhyme. A most enjoyable read.

Wistful deserving greater recognition - perhaps some inversion in the last line
wild roads which once I traveled now are gone
On another subject - Happy New Year - I'm surprised your Meadow Moments has not attracted attention for over 3 years
