Hammering inside my chest so hard it starts to ache.
Be quick my bated breath, wind tussling my hair.
Wrenching up my heart, gasping, how life's unfair.
Ripping through my veins poison fills my head.
With thoughts I hide and words I so dread.
Listening to you, breath catching in my chest,
I know the words you're saying, I know what happens next.
A moment thought to last forever shatters.
How sad we are, when love no longer matters...
Even strangers saw through this facade.
No matter what, some memories never fade.
A bated breath, a poisoned soul,
sometimes love leaves a bleeding hole.
And no matter what, you bleed.
Not everyone gets what they need.
We exsist to move, to breath, to die.
And people wonder why we cry...
Like moments frozen in my hands,
sometimes we're not meant to understand.
