i don't know why it is
this sadness i can't shake
my mind is dark and cloudy
my body often aches
some memories awake
from their slumbering sleep
what the brain lets go to past
the body seems to keep
in bed i toss and turn
nightmares seem so real
gets so hard to breathe
my thoughts won't keep still
through this house i wonder
like this life i'm afraid
by the stranger in my mirror
i feel i've been betrayed

A dark and emotional write. Your ending really makes the reader think. Sometimes people can feel these emotions and not understand why. Hopefully you were able to express some of your feelings with this write. Thanks for sharing.
