Texas is our starting line,
However long we stay, or leave,
Everything brings us back, in time.

Chased you to the west coast, then
Headed east myself.
Another year gone by just waiting
Searching for the moment when
Everything brings us back to Texas.

We were both born in Texas and wandered to opposite coasts, but we're each drawn back home.

    Though the words themselves aren't particularly striking or alluring, the fact that this is an acrostic based on your name gives it a special significance. Interesting but brief story.
