Can rainbows bleed hope?
strangled by decent
through fluffy illusions
free falling by silent walls
catching rays of reflections
in shards of splintered glass
urns of thought overflow
pouring shredded paper hearts
today’s news in cloistered fears
I reach for the tattered years
allusions to the weeping heard
but I ‘m not that strong
so I listen to hummingbirds
singing to beating wings
spilling sugared slices
while the earth grows
taking me home
cratering disconnection
to land in rainbow’s delusions
brushing the tainted sky
watching my soul's dice roll by
and in waves of colored shades
I look down and see my eyes
