Spirits of Christmas Past

On the first day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is 'Hope' to be shared by all.

So, I share the message that there is and can be better in my life and your life. I share a belief that allows us to endure

On the second day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is 'Peace' to be released to the world.

I become the 'peacemaker' not the peacebreaker. I seek the 'spirit' that loves not troubles.

On the third day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is 'Joy' to be given to those who wish it.

A gift that should only be shared by ones who need and can use its experience. This gift is best given to those who wish to draw it in and hold on to it. I love to give a child the attention that draws that joyful smile from them.

On the fourth day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is 'Love' only given in moderately tolerable doses with a spoonful of sugar to make it go down

Love is presented in a form that is acceptable to the recipient. It should be wrapped nicely with a large bow on top. It tends to be accepted in the 'spirit' that it was given.

On the fifth day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is 'togetherness'. No one should have to experience the feeling of loneliness. With that most of the other presents becomes possible.

I seek to get through other people's walls. Allowing them to have the human company that sustains and nourishes them.

On the sixth day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is 'wisdom'. It is a tool of survival.

I share the wisdom that has allowed me to survive and prosper. Wisdom may help us get through a period where no other gift works.

On the seventh day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is 'my smile'.

I share a smile to share my inner expression. It not only can change me but the person who observes it can share in its pleasure.

On the eighth day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is 'a hug'

Human contact breaks down barriers.

On the nineth day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is a 'warm hello'

Words are contact, also. Breaking down space to a much smaller size.

On the tenth day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is a 'kind word'

This present is known as one that anyone can use. Give it away freely and do not expect something in return. It is supposed to be a selfless act.

On the eleventh day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is 'confidence'. An aide to performing any good act.

The belief that you are doing the right thing makes any act easier. It alters others perceptions of intent and goodwill.

On the twelth day of Christmas

The present unwrapped is the 'personal dream' A motivation to live

I respect others and live my own. If done right, I find such things as happiness, peace, love and confidence. When I share it I give hope to others. All acts of kindness flow better.

    This is very nice Otter

This really made me smile, and renewed my faith in humanity. The True meaning of Christmas is a wondrous and multifaceted thing. It's about so much and in your 12 days of Christmas you touch on many of the beautiful things that we can't buy at BestBuy ,or Sears or Walmart. These gifts look pretty appealing , and even more so in this bad economy. I'd love to receive any of them from someone.
