The most wonderful day came about.
It was my birthday.
The day that was chosen for my birth, and now another year older.
Sometimes I feel so old, other times not.
Someone brightened up my day.
My lover and my friend.
He gave me gifts and spent wonderful time with me.
He is the anchor of my soul.
He gave of himself to me that day.
I have never had such a wonderful birthday.
I hope to have many more with him by my side.
He makes all days bearable.
I have a deep joy inside my soul
Because of my lover.
He is also a companion and friend.
All days are wonderful because he is here.
