Alive Below

Missing image
O' beneath these tangled roots, worms
m'soul shivers in grit, grim
Clawing nails digging; despair cursing
escape anticipating time
Demons of darkness soaring high
forming clouds so black
Within m'womb kicks thy babe; tis
m' skull ye cracked
Alive below nay more in flesh under
life's knoted, crooked tree
Out of the bowels of Hades m' family
flies vile after thee
Anon beside thy body buried perfect
breathing damp, un-free
Welcome to leafless Shady Rest's ugly
twisted wicked tree
Alas thou hast come home, m' darling
united again means we

    THE DARK WORLD BELOW..

A very picturesque description of live beyond the veil of the shadowed world ;the land of no return. The images here are scary but intuitively reflective of the law of sowing and reaping in life and in relationships between a man and his wife. You did a fantastic job in driving home your message through the use of these poetic embellishments.WELL DONE!!!.

Quite the dark spell this one casts, "
Alive below nay more in flesh under
life's knoted, crooked tree". Her lover killed her, perhaps knowing or unknowing on her condition.
Aha, but fate has cast them together again in the pyres of Hell, where he will receive no pity.

Wonderfully and darkly penned Dove, your write left me with a chill in my bones. Well done.

    I love you,
    Brazos
