My middle name is sceptic
my belief is non belief
can I see it, can I touch it ?
Like I can a falling leaf.
If I lived inside a movie
if my dream eye was unfurled
I could see the things that might be
but I walk the real world.
What's wrong with plain acceptance
that your eyes do not deceive
why do people haveto search
for things I don’t believe.
Is it something that they lack
do they seek a newer truth
so before I come and join you
please someone, show me proof.

You have written an interesting piece here. Your rhyming and meter were all good (that doesn't often happen here I've found). Your message was clear and concise. I don't know what the contest was about, but you penned a good piece. I do have to say, I am "skeptical" of those who only believe "what they see", since the breathe the same air we all breathe.
