Dearly Beloved

Dearly beloved,
We gather here today,
To give a hello to this lifelong parade,
Welcome to a new chapter,
The times will be new,
I’m sure that everyone here,
Can see how much he loves you.
As life goes on,
Look into her eyes and see,
Beauty unsurpassed,
Be kind to her please.
I wish I knew what it’s like to be you,
My day is coming,
It will be here soon.
I hope I have found her,
She brings me so much joy,
I find the little things she does,
To be ever so coy.
It’s tough to capture a heart,
The way that we both have,
It’s even harder to keep,
The ones lucky enough to grab.
So I wish you luck,
My good wedded man,
I pray that forever,
We’ll hold our ladies hand.

Please tell me what you think

    Two in a Row?!?

Another great poem so soon? Is this the start of an amzing poem trend? Comes to Cross you are truely a gifted writer. I feel that when I read you pieces I can connect with what's being talked about.
Your language is elegant, but you drive your point home so great.
I also liked the double use of the title, well I think it was it might not be. I love how the "dearly beloved" at first seems to be talking about death, like the end of a realationship, but then as the poem moves on it becomes a message of joy. A message telling these people it's ok. And suddenly it becomes a message of union, as in "dealy beloved, we are gathered here today to witness to joyful union..."
Another great job, I hope the next one comes as quick as this, but I know you can't rush art
