Bitter is this love
Hateful, unforgiving
It stole my heart
And tore it to pitiful pieces
What was once a blossoming rose of beauty
Is now a wilting weed with wicked thorns
Like a prisoner in a prison with molding walls
I am a canary in a cage who when flies she falls
Never will I leap again
For surely I shall fall
I climbed out on a limb
It snapped and threw me down
Love is surely not a friend
Cruel is this love
Trickery and deceit are its friends
It is promises broken
It wears a mask of beauty
To hide a monster of brutality
Never shall I love again

This is a very interesting take on the prompt, but an original view on it all. Well chosen words to express your disslikes with love but like anyone you can't ever chose not to fall in love, it is one of those instinkts you can't controlle at all. But it is a lovely feeling when it happens, just enjoy the ride and don't worry too much of it to break apart.
Thank you for entering and best of luck
