My wish concerns the thing most on my mind
but first of all, I'm thankful I'm not blind.
I had an eye operation a month ago.
Christmas would be too early to know
but I hope that everything will be okay
and that I will see well by Christmas Day.
Everyone who helped me was so kind
but now my eyes are always on my mind.
