If I could have one special wish
it would be to give special sunshine
to each person without hope,
all the poor suffering unemployed
who are worried about no paychecks.
For they need the sun more than some
a present that you can’t always
put in a box under a tree.
So that on Christmas morning
they could sit and feel happiness
with the family they love
being able to find a job
that will let them
make their children’s dreams
always come true
and find joy from believing
miracles still happen
during the holiday season.
