The body cannot always cry
For there are sorrows
Beyond the body’s grief,
Beyond the leaking tear.
There are sadnesses so profound,
So far beyond the ache of physical
Not only is it
Pain that cannot cry;
The river of love is dammed.
The heart bursts to encompass,
Even dares to pity those
Who do not want
To know, to understand,
The shame being,
That is most and
You know
Almost none
Will ever
Dare to know
What your heart
Aches to give.
Author notes
I have spent a lifetime learning the truth behind what most religions profess to know, to answer the big questions, "Who am I, why am I here, where am I going (do I survive death), what is the meaning of life?", only to discover that almost no one else seems to care to know the truth and that this turns out to be some sort of cosmic law that cannot be changed, so it seems unlikely that anyone, not even those I love, will ever truly know my heart.
This heart of mine aches to give what apparently I cannot for I know what an amazing change there would be if all knew what I now know. There would be universal peace, greatly lengthened life spans, deeper understanding and lives far more fulfilling and meaningful. But that will never happen. I will likely never be able to pass on what I have striven so mightily for over a half a century to understand.
This is constant pain almost beyond remembering.

This poem has so deep meaning. The truth is that each heart has its own universe. Nicely done.
