Why do we care
What they think?
If we disagree
Do we die?
And if we die
So what?
They will make you
Die anyway,
For money,
For religion,
For their belief,
For what they deem
We should
Find meaningful
Or just because
They are right
Or we are wrong
If only in
Their own mind.
Fear not death,
They lose their power
And we
Set ourselves
Free.
Winning
When it's looking
Like trying means dieing,
That's not the time
For lieing or crying.
Give up the fight
And you die anyway.
Strive for the light,
Live or die, win the day
Author notes
In esoteric literature concern for other's opinion is called Inner Considering. It is interesting how much we do this because most of the time it hasn't occurred to these others, that we are so concerned about, even to have an opinion, and those who do have an opinion generally base it on self-righteous "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts" they picked up from some other self-righteous source. Think for yourself, even if it is diametrically opposed to what those around you profess, for you have nothing really to lose and everything to gain.
