Darkness of the eyes,
fear of another year to be gone.
Your alone,
and no one sees your sparkle.
No special moment pulls you in,
twisting you into a moment of grief.
But you know how it feels now to see,
the light has founds its way to you.
Heart flutters in and out of your soul,
giving to the person who has freed you.
Kind hearted and unique,
flows through me like a wind.
Soon the light fades into a crisp dim,
for the love light has died on us both.
We fight for to keep the fire burning,
only for the fact we are afraid of the outside.
After its done we don't fear anymore,
or worship the inside and out.
Each has the fears and happiness of there own,
whether it be love to lonliness.
Both are ok to me.

I love those lines!!! You’ve written this piece well, and a nice take on the prompt! Your flow is pretty good…but those first four lines simply took me…
Thanks for entering!
