to see...

Let me see your face
unveiled, lifted curtains
fallen like night and darkness
let me see ...
the crimson lips that welcome
the bright dark eyes that fascinate...
you have many pleasing forms

Life...

you...  that have the honeycomb
in your form, the rich black mystery
of the void within your depths
and the gentle satisfying touch
as  morning breathes upon my body.

Let me see your face
so that I might know
the essence of creation,
the heart of things we hold
that hold us
like unyielding hand that binds us to earth,
strong bond that nurses a blue world in sweet sunlight
such searching we have made
among night shines and shadows

[the dry barren rock seen in muted fire
given so much of human desire, beauty and adoration
we have made you too...something we simply wish to see]

now you are a part of all
we seek; as Life

let me see your face, so that
I can truly love you.

So much to see, indeed. I love how you juxtapose the universal with the personal in beautiful unification. Both the night and morning images are absolutely captivating... and call me want to partake of what is there to appreciate.

May our eyes be opened. Amazing, PK. I wish I had time to specifically name all the wealth I find in these wonderful phrases... but they are not unnoticed. Yep, amazing.

It's like Arabic erotica dedicated to coffee!
Or would that be Arabica? Hmm...
Lovely words in this write. Very well done, and just this side of abstract.

I really like the visuals in this poem. The first minutes after we wake up when we a sight makes all the senses alert. That is a nice way to start a day, even if tasting coffee
