As the last of many candles
First flickers then does fade
It's too much for me to handle
But I'll tread through another day
I'll weather the stormiest nights
As it all falls apart at the seams
Out of disability, not fight
Taking refuge in indigo dreams
English Roses and Espresso
Are always in my head
I can't bear to see our face
So I'll live your life instead
I Dream of the colors of my future
The one thing I know how to do
I will let those dreams take control
Even though they remind me of you
I'll believe that I will find you
Good things come to those who wait
But the sandstorms of time, they blind you
And by then, it may be too late
I deserve what I've been waiting for
For all the pain I've endured
So I will hold on to these Indigo Dreams,
Oh, but if only I could be sure....

A passionate write. The stanza about espresso and roses was most interesting. A very abstract view on the Indigo Dreams theme.
