break me down, I'm still the same
dancing with the shines and sparkles
(maybe I'm the only one to see them)
a rose with gold layers, leaf by leaf
I don't mind preening and bragging a bit
until someone reduces my splendor,
this name a delight to the tongue,
to that dreaded five letter word
I'd much prefer you think of me when painting ceilings
perhaps I'm a bit of a mouthful
but at least I'm not a yawn
Author notes
I found such interesting things out while searching for what this really was (besides an awesome word)! Besides being a mica containing iron and lithium (makes me think of the Evanescence song, lol), zinnwaldite as a color was made the common color for phones in the 1960's by AT&T, but they described it as "beige". I think we should all replace the word beige in our vocabulary as zinnwaldite, just to scare people, or perhaps educate them.
Pronounced [ tsin -vahl-tahyt].
Background is the title color.

Fascinating piece. You’ve got some fantastic lines flowing through this and it does indeed touch me to the core of my being. I love the matter of fact tone to it as well. Very solid and impressive to say the least.
