Bedtime
the one time where you slow down
and I can have you to myself.
The mischief in your hazel eyes,
your cheeky little grin
makes me laugh every time.
"No more stories, it's time for bed"
but as always
you win me over
And I flip to the front page once again
while your sleepy eyes drift you off
into another world..

Awww.
Very pretty. It's an enjoyable, relaxed read.

Aw, this is just too adorable. I don’t think I could resist either. My niece tends to wrap me around her little finger as well, LOL. A great warm write, from the heart. Soul food for sure.

Such a heartfelt dedication to your daughter. She'll surely appreciate this now, if not later in her life. Best of luck to you in the contest.
