I hunt for pennies eight hours a day
it takes about an hour to polish them bright.
I've grown very wealthy saving this way.
Once I found sixty-seven at a dump site.
The secret to wealth isn't making money.
You'll never get rich with a lawyer and a docket.
I spend hours laughing, it's so funny.
Its as simple as keeping your money in your pocket.

Now that is a true affirmation if I've ever heard one
Keeping the pocket sealed is often a heard feat but you are too right, if we can do it we save alot. Well done

Great poem. It's as simple as its message and the speaker's "secret" method to saving money. The short lines, each one an individual sentence (except for the first), really helped emphasize the simplicity. I really like the tone and the lighthearted nature present throughout the poem. It left me with a smile. Nice poem!
