What a match; Apathy and flames fight with silence and force.

Uncertain eyes weigh competition pressed with gallant confidence.
Annoyance seers through blood pumping fast.
Frustration mingles with confusion ;  making an unrelenting duo.
How can we surpass this problem presented in blank lies?
Is there any cure to this indifferent yearning in which your eyes portray?
Numbed words suppress hearts on fire to dull particles of dust littered smoke.
My interest is failing, and my attention span wanning.
Skin on skin conflict reduced to faint touches of the lip.
How can we fall so far with such apathetic pretences?
Striving for a brighter day;
        For a vibrant palette of colours to stream amongst the canvas of despair.
But everything is shaded in a dim greyscale scope.

Sly whispers repressed with social standards.
Devotion supplements desire with a bittersweet embrace.
Your arms feel warm;    but this passion is dead cold.
There’s a sharp depression in the bridge of velocity.
We are stuck viewing this scene from a small spread TV screen.

Your minute alterations are barely acceptable.
How can you contain such an emotion that begs to burst?
Or maybe it’s just not there to start with.

And I’ll touch type on this school computer;
Bare my soul to an all too willing black monitor.
It hums gently as I am left wondering what my next move will be.

So many hints lacking subtlety;
        Do you need a neon flashing light to direct you?

Do my direct messages betray my subdued charade?
                  Well they were meant to.

So please;  spare me from the tedious, unchanging predictability.
Show me that you still hold your gender with pride.
And next time you kiss me;
      Inject a little meaning, not misimplied.
