The tingling in my toes remind me

The cold kiss on my cheek remind me

The puddles across the cement seep into my shoes
Soaking my toes and my rising up my jeans
I laugh at the squealing girls squawking about their ruined hair
I laugh as the boys laugh while they run from class to class
The smile that twitches on my lips is beautiful
It is blissful to be so happy at the simple peace
That the rain brings by simply pitter-patting at my feet
The sloshing sounds outside my window remind me
