Grey skies of winter
Reflect from the frozen lake
Memories of cheer and laughter
Are etched into each crystalline form
Soft sun from frozen stratus
Lies upon the land of white
As the tapioca snow falls gently
I will look into your silver eyes
Finally the cold wind will quickly blow
Through our lives
Clouds turn into a soft shade crimson
As the sun forgets this winter world
Am I in this reality?
Or just lost in a photograph?
Greyscale of each scattered weary tree
Gazes at the horizon soon to be dark
No more will tapioca snow fall in a lullaby
Into our our lives
But will our imaginations flow?
Beyond the threshold of forevermore?
