It has not been laid out before me it lays rather behind.
It always seems to follow as I lay it out.
The way I look I will never see it.
The path I blaze is untried and ignored.
The road is rather bumpy and the earth juts up under it.
The road sways like a ribbon to accompany of a wind’s solo.
Strange and tedious it never seems to go the same way.
Though it always seems to split and go in opposite ways.
Like small hands beating against the calluses of the earth.

There's something about this poem that is just so sweetly sad. Like there's a specific reason that someone is blazing this path, but it is a sad one. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but that's what I get when I read this. This piece is beautiful in its simplicity and I think you have written a very good piece.

When I was writing it I felt terribly sad because I have at the time I felt like I had to walk so many different paths but it was what I wanted. It has gotten better since then but I was just a pain at the time. Again thank you for your comment.
