Settled into life
Comforted and calm
Ever filling up with strife
Aching for sweet balm
Excitement always something
That takes my breath away
Into the night I’ll sing
As on my knees I’ll pray
Let go of the everyday
Stride forward in anticipation
The world no longer will be gray
Step out as Gods creation
Sacrifice the calm of living
For new life in Him
Always to be giving
Knowing that it is not a whim

A very spiritual take on the prompt. One which reminds us if the importance of following in the footsteps of our forefathers and guides. A great entry, thank you.
