tell me a story
without the tears
tell me some tales
fill up my ears
so many days
so many nights
say it wasn't all tragedy
say it wasn't all fights
give me some hope
that there is light
end of a tunnel
coarse of a flight
what do you say
what is your choice
what is important
tell me a story
give me some hope
that life was lived
that on deaths door
it wasn't in vain
what was left
what was done
what was unfinished
at the end
lay out the plans
put them in place
cover your bases
make your tracks
what were the boundaries
that were laid to claim
that staked out territory
that lead to storied fame
tell me an unfabled story
set apart from the sad
make it all action
and very little plan
say few words
talk is cheap
just say it was full
no time to weap
time has come
time has gone
moments pass
but memory moves on
for chris little by candice
my life is now a quilt
it is like water
pure
clear
the journey that i will take
the life that i will make
will unfold when the time
is right
there are no boundaries
just dreams yet to unfold
i am now like a kitty who has lived 10 lives
they say 11 is illumination
so i will go back to the sun
because my journey here is done
i will feast on love and light
i will surround myself by good friends
and laughter
i
will not live in fear
because i know god is near
i am again.........

this is a poem that my dear friend Chris little wrote to me as a tribute to Andy and my journey you can also see that i wrote him a poem with an answer about how i am feeling 2 weeks and 3 days after Andy's passing away.
Chris was the one who encouraged me to write poetry
he is my friend and teacher.

I loved this poem!
It captured our hearts and you both used your ink so
wisely....when our souls reach out to hang onto to
every memory...so fearful we may lose precious sight
of all the special memories.
