Which ever day this is, it's ok.
every day is the same as the last
doesn't really matter any more.
I'm stuck in instant replay.
There is some coffee in my cup
is it fresh or from yesterday
doesn't really matter any more.
I'm stuck in instant replay.
Did I just get dressed for bed
or am I still in my night clothes
doesn't really matter any more.
I'm stuck in instant replay.
I've lost my love and lifes desire
it happened so quick, it's done
doesn't really matter any more.
I'm stuck in instant replay.
My body is not mine anymore
it doesn't respond like it should
doesn't really matter any more.
I'm stuck in instant replay.
My face shows no pain
or happiness or anything
doesn't really matter any more.
I'm stuck in instant replay.
Do I sound like a broken record
repeating the same thing again
doesn't really matter any more.
I'm stuck in instant replay.

Whoa!
Good job here. Like a broken record, or skipping CD, messed up tape. I like how you show a broken person going through the paces, lifeless, broken, helpless. This is sad & dark! All the best in the Contest!

Thank You Very Much
I wrote this to sort of discribe how I felt for a year after becoming a widower
I'm still trying to pick up the pieces - the loss occured 10/3/07
I have health issues myself so that is only more kindling to the fire
Thanks

Hey I liked this, the whole idea behind this write was amazing, and I liked how the quote relates to something being broken, like what you said in your poem: stuck in instant replay, its kind of like a robot. Anyways I love how you penned this perfectly for this quote, you did it well.
Thank you for entering!
