Pieces Of Broken

"If you lose your purpose ... it's like you're broken. "

when you prefer to see the warm sunshine
from the bedroom window
you know your nights are going to be longer

when you look into your white cold frigerator
seeing only a bottle of milk
you know your stomach will stay hungry again

when you hear voices talking in the distance
thinking it is about you
you know your lips will move, but say nothing

when you hear knocking raps on the front door
knowing you are a mess
you know your will hide until they are far gone

when living starts to feel more like another chore
caring rather to be dead
you know then you have lost your sense of purpose

To understand the above quote one has to have lived it

Oh wow, I would have never thought of what you did for this quote, and I liked how you ended this write, it was the kind of statement that left me wondering, and wanting to read more. This was chalked full of ideas that I have never given thoughts to, but its like an author said once (Chuck Palahniuk,) to notice the full picture you have got to look up close.

thanks for your comment, after i read your comment, it came to me only they who have been there can write a true tale of its feel, it is hard to forge the truth when it does not belongs to ones life in true reality.
