full of wonder i fill my sight
with sweet red letters
and i watch numbers fly.
beautiful sounds i hear
with my eyes open wide.
the number four is my friend.
each word a group
of emotion and texture.
a work of art
so full of life.
im never alone.
sing to me
a beautiful light show.
music was meant to be seen
and meant for me to touch.
how could anyone ever survive
with empty words
that have no souls?
how can anyone ever live
not knowing how mean seven could be?
and the letter c is in love with me?
so aware
but they all say
this is not there.
seeing is beleiving
and i see
this

I disagree with your author notes, this poem was very good, and I know what your talking about in your author notes, I saw people on the travel channel about that. One could imagine all of the colors you would see, you would think it would be a little overwhelming though if you couldn't control it
But life is short so why not live it???
I really liked the message of your poem, and the details in this was fantastic, I love how light hearted this was.

Poem's actually okay. I would, speaking honestly, say that your other writes are better, but I see how this describes synesthesia, and you've done a good job describing it. I wish I had it too, and I envy people who do... the lucky ducks. I like some parts of the poem, for example:
"music was meant to be seen
and meant for me to touch."
And I love the playfulness of the line "and the letter c is in love with me?" =) yay!
