On Golgotha Hill
stands an empty Cross.
Where Blood was shed
not a drop was lost.
For by His Blood were We Justified.
( Romans, 5:9 )
He Lives (Raised) for Our Justification.
( Romans, 4:25 )
To day We look to Calvery.
Where Jesus shed His Blood,
for you and me.
To save us from our sins
and set our Souls free.
One Day He will come back again
and recieve us all free of Sin.
He will take us to our Heavenly Home.
To live and Worship around Gods great Throne.
Author notes
Sentence for second contest.
He Died for our Sins.
He lives for our Justification.

Thank you for posting this wonderful entry. I loved verse 2, the way you backed up your words with the bible passages was great.

Amen brother, you penned a truthful and very needed poem. So many times we forget about the cross at this time. Too many forget that the cross is empty. That is why we have the hope to go on.
