to find the smallest hints of emotion even that early on
so maybe she can write about it.

when Time seems to swirl around you in all its perfect fluidity
and you know, you _know,_ with a shuddering certainty that obliterates everything, that something's going to happen
because every decision of your life has led you here and now
and right there is exactly where you were always meant to be?

The way that you show the swirl of emotion and the inner conflict is very good. I appreciate that it is not the normal maudlinity that is so common.

I know exactly how you feel here, it breaks me down inside when someone holds me back and treats me with disrespect over and over again, but still blames it on me. It's never easy being in love and sometimes it's even harder trying to fall out of it.
