Sometimes Goodbye Is A Second Chance

Flowing like honey
A symphony of sight
So serious its funny
I walk alone at night

Hatred is my problem
Danger is my cure
I breath all too often
My thoughts are so unpure

Sarcasm is in my soul
It makes me feel alive
I'll be young when I am old
I walk alone at night

Disgust is in my mind
Your face in my thoughts
Our fingertips entwined
I've lost what I have fought

How cold are your eyes
Your rage is like a bite
You smile as she dies
I walk alone at night.

I have a different issue with this poem. In reading it, it feels like there are two poems here. In the first two stanzas, you're words are strongly suggestive, and sexualized, noted with your choice of "unpure." But then you take the loose bond you formed between the second and third stanza in order to produce a different idea, one more self deprecating and hostile. Nevertheless, you once again have latent imagery which is stunning. De Arterian
