Crackers sound around me
Screams heard everywhere
But there's pain in them,
No laughter heard
Blowing up peoples lives
Like they had the right
Killing innocent faces
This was my city's site
All we did was
Wait and Watch
Like we could do nothing more
Felt shameful and helpless
Watching people die every hour
Counting numbers of the dead
Feeling rage and anger
Against the terrorists and then our politicians
Who care nothing but money
'cause people at their home are safe
Sleeping in peace,
At the cost of my countrymen.
But enough is enough.
Time has already been wasted
Talking, promising and then forgetting.
It's time to wake up
It's time to shake them up.
We need answers.
Either you answer or you quit....
