The Forsaken Lover

your obsession with her is toxic
you follow her
like a hunter does its prey
hidden in the shadows
you watch and wait
sooner or later
she'll suspect you
and instead of her lover,
you'll become her nemesis
her privacy exposed,
she'll show you no mercy
soon all will witness
her hatred for you
you will become
the forsaken lover

  • Hmmm reminds me of a particular ex of mine. Some people just don't know how to control their emotions and tell the difference between love and obsession. It can be a fine line though, just like love and hate.

  • I liked this story. It is really straightforward, and descriptive of the situation at hand , and written in a poetic manor. I like the last line/title. It is really cool. Nice job with the HM!

Sounds just like a guy I know... But the 'her' is me. Gah honestly that guy is messed up. I definately think maintained steady pace with writing.

Second my comment on the other one, you've entered the same poem in twice, didn't know if you realised or not.
