For Kai

She'll bring her mother pride and anticipation of the pitter-patter of little feet running across the wooden floor.

She's blessed with the beauty of a night sky.

Beauty she possesses from her mother.

The stars shine within her eyes, radiant.

The pale moonlight reflects her smile.

Wrapped in her mothers sweet embrace she sink into slumber.

A teacher her mother will be.

Teach her whats right and whats wrong.

Teach her to love herself no matter what.
She'll be her first hero the one she looks upon for help.

She'll lay kisses upon soft downy hair.

Bless her with sweet whispers of affection.

Nearly five monthes old she'll wrap you around her little finger mesmerizing you

and all those around her with her sweet smile and joyful giggle.

She grew in your belly and inched her way into your heart as she took her first breath as newborns do.

Skin is smooth like silk soft to touch.

I think the fourth line in the first stanza should be the first line of the poem and then go into the beauty which is like her mother's, it's a really good tribute.
