About It

I’m just lost in my lonely mind
All these secrets, and they aren’t kind
Faces framed in golden light
Knowing forever that it isn’t right
A touch of hands on dying cheeks
Colored fingers as I weep
And I’m singing into the stratosphere
Wanting to whisper into a hidden ear
But these words could cause it all to die
Better to hide it all and lie

Author notes

I know there was a story behind this, but this was a very OLD poem and I can't remember what it was. Sorry!!
