the lot was slick & dark;
cold moonbeams shivered down
my spine
black ice crisscrossed in
your eyes, just waiting for me
to fall
silver fingertips at your sides,
and your smile eclipsed
my everything

i love the imagery -
Very nicely done. The last stanza is chilling, well it all is really. Very spine tingling and bone chilling. I can't say anything bad about it, it flawless!

lovely work thanks for entering

the last two lines are what did it for me. With the title, you could have just those two lines and have a complete love poem in and of itself. Thanks for entering

I like the idea here. "criss-crossed" is actually 'crisscrossed.'
I like the length of it and how you were straight to the point with the reader. Very important to do that effectively.
Thanks for entering! -
