You're home
You've been away for a while
But nothing has changed
Your room is still the same as you left it
Your big fluffy pillows on your soft bed
Your hot chocolate mug still sitting in the cupboard
So many memories and photo's stuck around the place
Over there is where you took your first steps
And learned to walk without being held
Life goes on, people change
But the one thing that remains the same...
Is the memories a home can make

Awwwwww..This is so sweet and it sounds like this is something you can relate to. It is such a secure feeling to know you always have a home to come back to. A home that is filled with all of the comforts you may be missing while away in a dorm. I can relate to this as I have a son in college, and I always try to do special things for him when he comes home. Beautiful poem! Blessings, Patty
