Andvaka Draumur

The little boy,
who leans himself against the window,
sighs himself into slumber -

eyes open,
staring at the rolling green lands
that lay before him.

"Verdant"
is a word that may
come to mind,

his tongue lush
with the hope
of a sunny spring.

Excitement bubbles inside him,
and soon he is out of his body,
out of his mind

and dreaming in air --

Interesting and I dare say, different
    take on the picture.
Please excuse my lack of knowledge,
and tell me what “andvaka draumur”
    means. Daydreams . . .hmmm . . .
