Or wrapped in my home in the comforting dark,
At times when I'm lost in more mute contemplation,
And thoughts summon thoughts through the doors of elation,
I think of your face, and your smile and your walk,
The warmth of your voice, and the way that you talk;
Your scent, and your quirks - all your gestures unique,
The secrets you hide, and the future you seek.
The dreams that you dream, and the dreams that we share,
The games and the teasing, the truth and the dare;
How glances speak volumes when hearts are in tune,
How life becomes precious, and partings' too soon.
So know that I miss you in countless small ways,
The times that we spent, still light up my days...

There is so much feeling and emotion pored into each line and every single word; makes you think, I love when poetry makes you think that’s the best part about poetry the thought and feeling lingering in your head after words see now you know you did something right I’m ranting aren’t I? i really really like it, i have an ex that its like this with. only yea, he doesnt care abut me anymore. i was like alibrary book that you just get tired of and take back. it sucked. i hate that anyone else has to go through heartbreak.

i really like these lines:

This poem is amazing. I am currently going through heartbreak so I can really relate to these feeling of feeling alone and missing my ex-girlfriend. And just like in your poem, thinking back of the memories her and I have made always tend to make me happy, yet when I'm not thinking of the happy times, all I can do is miss her.
