One times one, went out for FUN
And come back with the number ONE
Two times two, went through the DOOR
And came back with the number FOUR
Three times three, went out to DINE
And came back with the number NINE
Four times four went to the DEAN
And came back with number SIXTEEN
Five times five went for a DRIVE
And came back with a TWENTY FIVE
Six times six went out to MIX
Came back with number THIRTY SIX
Seven and seven lost track of TIME
And stayed back home with FORTY NINE
Eight times Eight, fell on the FLOOR
They stayed back too with SIXTY FOUR
Nine times nine went out for SUN
And came back with friend EIGHTY ONE
Ten times ten went out for BREAD
And returned with a BIG HUNDRED!

I tried to keep the poem as simple and precise as possible to make it easy to learn for kids and also to not take their mind too away from the tables

OMG, you did a GREAT job on this. Heartfelt congrats - I have to print this out for my six-year-old. LOL about your 84, I had the 9 X 9 at 89 or some wrong thing myself originally.

Lol just love it!!!!!!

hahaa! thanks

I'd be thrilled if kids in some part of the world enjoy tables cuz i took time off and wrote a verse which they understand and enjoy

Now this is more what Im looking for, simple and easy for the kids and still rhyming fun. Although you really needed my 8 x 8 rhyme because the answer is 64 not 84.
Very well done, best of luck... Scott
