staring reflections settle
dust scatters wildly
within the mirror, a opposite
within this hell, this heaven
the reflection gazes
mounted in time, frozen
the icicles lick its light
as it smiles back
luminescent glows flicker
upon the mirror, to forget
a memory the mirror falls
cracking its life, its soul
yet that is a reflection upon itself
the mirror cracks yet whole
for the world is backwards
time, life, words are all
reversed
illuminated within a mirror
backwards
To remember is always
to forget
the mirrors lies within
are the truths beneath
Author notes
